Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a phlebotomist to perform specimen procurement procedures across hospital and outpatient settings. You will organize requests and respond promptly to collections, while maintaining supplies and following safety protocols.

The role may require travel between facilities, with responsibilities expanding as needed by the supervisor. A high school diploma or GED is required, and phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months hospital experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (ASCP, NCA, etc.).
• Must be able to travel between facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen procurement procedures (venipunctures, fingersticks, heelsticks) for all ages.
• Organize incoming requests for collections and respond promptly.
• Perform collections using appropriate safety devices per the Specimen Procurement manual.
• Maintain supplies and assist supervisor with duties as required.
