Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) – Lab Services to perform phlebotomy, waived tests, automated CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care.

Active WA State MA-P certification is required along with a High School Diploma/GED. Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills are essential; bilingual English/Spanish is

Qualifications

• Active WA State MA-P certification required.
• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
• Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must pass pre-hire competency test.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling.
• Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation.
• Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs.
• Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA.
• Communicate results and coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
