Job summary

CALRegional is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor in Garden Grove, CA. The role involves leading instruction while supporting aspiring healthcare professionals in a flexible weekday schedule.

Even without prior teaching experience, you will guide students through a concise program, facilitating hands-on skills, assessments, and externships in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Must have CPT license.
• 3 years of documented on-the-job experience in a CLIA lab within the last 5 years.
• No teaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Instructing students in all aspects of the Phlebotomy Technician scope of practice.
• Evaluating, reporting, and recording student performance and progress.
• Prepare students in a 72-hour class to go on to a 40-hour externship in a lab or hospital.
• Assisting students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
• Providing a professional role model for students.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated part‑time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The Phlebotomy Technician Programs run for 3-12 weeks. Morning, day, evening, and weekend schedules are available.

Schedule is: Monday-Thursday 10:00 am- 2:00 pm

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Duties & Responsibilities

• Instructing students in all aspects of the Phlebotomy Technician scope of practice.
