Qualifications
Experience as a nursing assistant, medical assistant or similar will be considered.
1-2 years of experience for Phlebotomist II, or graduation from Geisinger’s School of Phlebotomy Program.
Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician is required within 18 months.
Responsibilities
Perform venipunctures and skin punctures on all age groups.
Process specimens for analysis and register patients in the computer system.
Provide phlebotomy coverage to various locations including homes.
