Qualifications

• Experience as a nursing assistant, medical assistant or similar will be considered.
• 1-2 years of experience for Phlebotomist II, or graduation from Geisinger’s School of Phlebotomy Program.
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician is required within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures on all age groups.
• Process specimens for analysis and register patients in the computer system.
• Provide phlebotomy coverage to various locations including homes.
