Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program or relevant experience with state certification as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state education regulations.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to cover multiple locations; flexible in hours and travel.
• Bilingual skills preferred; knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection, processing, and referral laboratory tasks with correct patient and specimen identification.
• Enter and verify patient, test, and clinical information into computer systems for processing and billing.
• Ensure specimen quality and documentation, adhere to departmental procedures, and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Utilize supplies efficiently, support cost-saving initiatives, and understand billing procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with colleagues and patients, provide excellent customer service, and work across shifts and locations.
• Uphold patient privacy and HIPAA regulations.
