Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO, is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician for a full-time, day-shift onsite role. You will collect blood specimens, label and process samples, and manage supplies in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited phlebotomy program, and BLS/CPR certification valid through the start date. This is an onsite position with a comprehensive total rewards program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program required.
• BLS through American Heart Association or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; must be valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Label, process and deliver specimens for testing.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, including clerical functions and related duties.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
