• Follows infection control procedures and maintains a sterile collection site.
• Verifies patient identity using two identifiers per protocol.
• Notifies supervisor of any adverse phlebotomy events for patient care.
• Completes phlebotomy rounds and prioritizes time management.
• Assists with answering calls and supports coworkers to balance workload.
• Maintains professional appearance and adheres to breaks and PTO policies.
• Ensures specimen integrity by following collection requirements and timelines.
