Job summary

Qualifications

• Two to three years experience in a clinical/phlebotomy setting preferred.
• Proficient in venipuncture and capillary collection.
• BCLS certification from AHA or ARC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and prepare specimens for analysis under supervision.
• Collect venous and capillary blood samples using multiple techniques.
• Receive, process and distribute laboratory specimens and paperwork.
• Verify patient identification and observe safety precautions during handling.
