Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, Arizona is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. This role covers multiple sites (Hospital Facility, PSC, IOP, or MDS) with 38 hours weekly and a day shift from 3am to 1pm. New grads start at $19/hour; experienced staff (3+ years) may earn $21.07-$23.36 depending on experience.

You will collect and receipt specimens, enter data, prepare samples, and support quality, billing, and customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient rights.

Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Must be able to travel to multiple locations.
• Must be flexible for weekends/holidays/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receipt of biological specimens into the department and proper entry into the computer system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to appropriate areas.
• Ensure specimen integrity and accurate patient demographics and requisitions.
• Participate in workflow monitoring, training of new employees, and quality assurance.
