Job summary

OneBlood in Spring Hill, FL is seeking a leader to supervise collection staff during blood drives and at branches. You will perform phlebotomy, manage donor records, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include staff instruction, recruitment support, and driving the mobile unit if assigned. Requires CPR certification, CDL pre-qualifications, and ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and six months of related experience.
• CDL pre-qualifications and CPR Certification required for mobiles.
• Ability to read, write and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to drive blood mobile units when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to the collection staff during blood drives or at branches.
• Ensures staff follow applicable policies and procedures.
• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and performs phlebotomy.
• Completes shift-end responsibilities including donor records review.
• Assists with donor recruitment and meeting collection goals.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; monitors deferrals and training needs.
• Delivers professional customer service to donors and staff.
