Job summary

Oklahoma Blood Institute in Oklahoma City is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead from the front, work in the field, and develop a high-performing donor team.

You’ll ensure a safe, smooth donation process, coach staff, and enhance donor experiences while maintaining SOP compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of proven leadership experience.
• Healthcare or medical experience required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to drive coach vehicles.
• MVR with zero points and no moving/traffic violations.
• Ability to lift, bend, and reach up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support team members in a collaborative, high-energy environment.
• Motivate and engage your team while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Help create a welcoming, positive, and exceptional experience for volunteer blood donors.
• Perform phlebotomy, take vital signs, and assess donor eligibility.
• Follow and perform all duties in compliance with SOPs.
• Lead by example while supporting your team in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate service.
