Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor for a full-time, 40-hour work week with day shifts and full benefits. The role includes performing venipuncture, ensuring proper specimen collection, and supervising phlebotomy staff while coordinating with the laboratory team.

You will support test requirements, assist in the clinical lab, and contribute to a high-quality patient care environment in a 124-bed acute care facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State Laboratory Assistant licensure preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Supervisor experience preferred; able to schedule staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and skin puncture competently and efficiently.
• Coordinate phlebotomy staff scheduling and fill vacancies.
• Assist laboratory technicians and perform clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain familiarity with test requirements and tube colors.
