Job summary

Labcorp in Peabody, MA is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead a team of phlebotomists in patient service centers and physician offices. You will manage patient flow, scheduling, and operations to ensure timely, high-quality specimen collection.

Travel to Danvers, Middleton, Lynn and Newburyport as needed; schedule Mon–Fri 8am–5pm with potential overtime; strong leadership, communication, and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Peabody MA. You will be traveling to Danvers, Middleton, Lynn and Newburyport

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, additional days and hours may be required

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of (+25) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices
• Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs
• Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary
• Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking
• Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals
• Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions
• Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions
• Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients
• Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices
• Provide resolution of any patient or client issues
• Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed
• Travel to additional sites as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years or more as a supervisor or leader of direct reports
• 5 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Current or Previous LabCorp experience

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years’ old
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Salary

**Salary Range:** $69,000 - $95,000 per year All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
