Labcorp in Montgomery, AL seeks a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead a team of 25+ phlebotomists across Patient Service Centers and physician offices. The role focuses on patient flow, productivity, scheduling, and service quality.

You will partner with HR on employee relations, hire and train staff, and ensure accurate specimen collection while delivering excellent customer service. Travel to additional sites may be required and a Monday–Friday schedule is typical.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years as a phlebotomist.
• 3+ years in a supervisory/people-leader role.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a team of 25+ phlebotomists in Patient Service Centers and offices.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory, and logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity and report deviations.
• Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through scheduling and planning.
• Handle payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals.
• Partner with HR regarding employee relations and disciplinary actions.
• Hire and train phlebotomists to fill open positions.
• Communicate with patients, office staff, sales, logistics, and management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients.
• Assist in set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices.
• Provide resolution of patient or client issues.
• Perform, collect and prepare specimens; travel to other sites when needed.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Montgomery AL

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, additional days and hours may be required

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of (+25) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices
• Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs
• Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary
• Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking
• Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals
• Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions
• Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions
• Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients
• Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices
• Provide resolution of any patient or client issues
• Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed
• Travel to additional sites as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 3 year or more experience in a supervisory or people leader position
• 3 years or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 year or more experience in a supervisory or people leader position
• 5 years or more experience as a phlebotomist

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
