The Phlebotomist/Specimen Processor performs general laboratory tasks including specimen collection via venipuncture, order entry, blood component prep, specimen receipt, waived testing, pre-analytic processing, and related clerical duties such as entering orders, confirming specimen validity, answering calls, and managing faxes. Responsibilities may also include patient and specimen registration and delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, attention to detail, organizational skills, basic computer skills, and compassion.
