Shift and Hours

PRN, Days. Flexible hours, with outpatient lab hours from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday hours from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Approximate 10-20 hours per week.

Location

Health Saxony Outpatient Lab in Fishers.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection via routine venipuncture.
• Enter orders and confirm specimen validity.
• Prepare blood components and process specimens pre-analytically.
• Handle clerical tasks such as answering calls and managing faxes.
• Potentially register patients and deliver specimens.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program; laboratory or biological science coursework preferred.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and good driving record may be required.
• Basic computer skills and strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work as part of a team.
