A-Team Solutions LLC is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist for the Lake Baldwin VA Clinic in Orlando, FL. Hours are 9:30am-6pm. Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection for patients from various conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified phlebotomy training program.
• Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Experience with accessioning laboratory specimens.
• Experience with processing of laboratory specimens.
• Ability to read and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy (venipuncture) and urine collection for patients across health statuses.
• Collects venous blood specimens from adults using proper technique and equipment.
• Prepares specimens for testing and transport following testing requests.
• Assists in training other personnel in phlebotomy techniques.
