Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures and skin punctures on patients of all ages.
• Processes tissue, cytology, fine needle aspirate, and frozen section samples accurately.
• Maintains records per department policy and distributes test results.
• Performs clerical duties and data entry to support laboratory personnel.
• Collects specimens at nursing homes/assisted living facilities as scheduled.
• Performs EKGs, Holter and Event Monitors.
