Qualifications

• Experience with phlebotomy, specimen receipt, processing, and testing workflows.
• Ability to supervise a team of health technicians and coordinate daily operations.
• Knowledge of applicable safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the phlebotomy and processing section.
• Develops performance standards and evaluates staff.
• Plans schedules to ensure timely specimen processing and testing.
• Provides training and guidance to staff on technical and administrative matters.
• Maintains inventory and ensures adequate supplies for the section.
• Ensures proper specimen labeling and handling per protocols.
