Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine venipuncture specimen collections from inpatients, outpatients, CLCs, and ED patients.
• Accessioning, processing, and testing related functions coordinating flow of specimens to Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, etc.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of test requests; interact with hospital personnel to correct discrepancies.
• Receive and sort specimens, check shipping documents, log and deliver specimens to laboratory sections.
