A leading staffing company seeks a Phlebotomist II for a 4-month role in Goldsboro, NC. You will need excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, and must demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication abilities. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and reliable transportation.
Job - Phlebotomist II
Duration: 4 Months
Shift: Mon-Thurs 8:30 AM--12:30 PM, Fri 8 AM--12 PM
Location: Goldsboro, NC 27530
Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
Job Description:
Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
THREE years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Additional Job Details:
The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.
Overlapping roles do not count twice.
Candidate must have reliable transportation to get to/from the worksite without issue (bus, Uber, or rideshare is not reliable transportation).
Must be available to work whenever scheduled, BE ON TIME, and stay for the entire shift.
Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and will be cause for termination
Candidates need to be within a 20-25-minute commute window to ensure their ability to travel to/from the site for coverage.
