Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certificate program with internship or equivalent experience.
• Experience with venipuncture on adults and children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and collects blood and other specimens per procedures.
• Registers patients, verifies demographics, and orders tests following policies.
• Transports specimens and maintains basic records and documentation.
• Maintains patient safety, universal precautions, and proper labeling of samples.
• Coordinates with clinical staff for test preparation and specimen handling.
