Patient First in Chester, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant (Phlebotomist) for full-time coverage. You will locate patients, obtain vital signs, and assist physicians and nurses during exams and treatments. Duties include ordering labs and supplies electronically, and maintaining clean, ready treatment rooms.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and about 1 year of clinical experience; CPR training and lifting up to 50 lbs may be needed. Training on the EMR system is provided.

Competenze

• 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods (4–7 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; CPR training is a plus.

Mansioni

• Locate patients and obtain vital signs.
