Qualifications

• Specialized Experience: one year of experience equivalent to GS-05 in lab support or related field.
• Experience includes identifying and preparing proper sites, obtaining venous/capillary blood specimens, labeling and storing specimens, and processing specimens for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and examinations as part of technical medical laboratory support.
• Greet patients at the front desk and direct inquiries to appropriate staff (clerical/customer service).
• Identify and prepare proper site and obtain venous and capillary blood specimens according to SOPs.
• Label, store, and package specimens properly and ship them as required.
