Job summary

Piedmont-Healthcare's Eastside Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to support sample processing, exempt screening, and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS/CLIA and applicable regulations.

The role includes performing venipunctures, obtaining and preparing blood specimens per policy, and assisting technical staff with non-clinical tasks. Education: GED or HS diploma; no experience required, with EKG and healthcare/lab exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year preferred.
• Experience performing EKGs preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or clinical laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests per CMS/CLIA standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens per Piedmont policies.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
