The Lab Support Services Tech at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ supports laboratory operations with venipuncture, specimen collection and processing, and patient care in clinic and hospital labs.

You will work in a fast-paced team, follow SOPs, use computer systems, ensure patient identification, and maintain safety and confidentiality while providing professional service to patients and staff. This part-time role requires flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant program or equivalent, such as a new phlebotomy graduate.
• 3 years of work experience in phlebotomy/medical assisting in a healthcare setting.
• Certified by a national association for phlebotomy or medical assisting, such as ASCP, AMT, or NHA and 1 year of clinical experience.
• One year of phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Specimen processing and receiving desk duties.
• Scheduling functions and order entry.
• Assisting with waived point-of-care testing.
