Job summary

Emanate Health in West Covina, CA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Services team. You will perform venipunctures on adults and pediatrics, collect micro samples as needed, and support specimen processing to ensure timely, accurate results.

Requirements include a California CPT certificate, completion of phlebotomy training, and strong communication and customer-service skills. High school diploma or equivalent and experience in a hospital lab are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two year acute care hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• 1–2 years experience assisting in performing laboratory assays preferred.
• Ability to operate computer input terminal.
• Typing and word processing skills required.
• Excellent customer service and fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures on adults and pediatrics.
• Performs micro collections on infants.
• Participates in data entry, specimen processing.
• Communicates with clients to resolve specimen concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
