Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a Lab Assistant Outreach for the Effingham Clinic. The role involves phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and patient registration for Outreach clients, as well as assisting lab scientists with specimen handling at the Effingham Lab.

Requirements include a High School diploma, IL driver’s license with auto insurance, and BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a starting pay of $17.79 and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

• Audits charts at client sites to ensure tests are completed on schedule.
• Collects throat, nasal, and nasopharyngeal swabs.
• Registers patients and orders tests in LIS.
• Performs point of care testing and quality control.
• Maintains clean work areas and documents temperature logs.
• Takes inventory and restocks supplies.
