Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients of all ages.
• Process, transport, and ensure integrity of laboratory specimens per protocols.
• Enter patient and specimen data into the LIS with accuracy.
• Restock phlebotomy and laboratory supplies, ensuring proper storage.
• Collaborate with the lab team to prioritize specimen collection and processing.
• Assist with CAP and DNV inspections and CAP compliance as directed by supervisor.
• Provide guidance to new phlebotomy staff or students.
