Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• WA Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification within 180 days of hire.
• Enrollment in Providence School of Phlebotomy training preferred; completion within 3 months of hire.
• 1 year of healthcare experience including patient interactions; 6 months of customer service; 6 months of lab or related science experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection, transport, and processing.
• Handle confidential information and communicate with patients across age groups.
• Utilize medical equipment and participate in diagnostic or related procedures.
• Work under supervision in the phlebotomy training program and progress toward licensure.
