Job summary

Athens Technical College seeks a Clinical Adjunct Instructor for Phlebotomy Technology to lead hands-on training and classroom instruction in our Phlebotomy program. The role focuses on student learning outcomes, assessment, and adherence to program goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Allied Health.
• Instruct and supervise students during clinical day/evening rotation schedule.
• Credentials of those of a phlebotomist and/or a medical technologist.
• Two years teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with college goals, mission, and long-term plans.
• Contribute to planning and development processes.
• Participate in recruitment and retention of students in both programs.
• Attend required staff meetings and serve on staff committees.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media.
• Regularly evaluate student achievement and provide student feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
