Join us for the Phlebotomy and Customer Service Specialist Downtown Pavilion (Full Time Mid-day / Evening Shift) role at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform clinical and administrative duties, including phlebotomy, patient registration, insurance verification, and specimen collection, in a fast-paced environment. The position offers full-time hours, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and no holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and related clinical procedures.
  • Accurately register patients, verify insurance, and coordinate tests and services.
  • Support patient communication regarding co-pays, appointments, and pre-visit instructions.
  • Maintain clinical skills, equipment, and supplies according to standards.
  • Handle administrative tasks like documentation, scheduling, and insurance processing.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in phlebotomy or patient registration.
  • Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records.
