Job summary

Oklahoma Blood Institute in Tulsa, OK is seeking a phlebotomist to provide a safe, pleasant donor experience. No prior phlebotomy experience is required as world-class paid on-the-job training is offered. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; college classes are a plus.

Spanish fluency is rewarded with additional pay. Availability includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and reliable transportation is a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college classes are a plus.
• Phlebotomy training and donor care experience valued.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, and record keeping.
• Adhere to SOPs to ensure blood products meet FDA quality standards.
• Assist supervisor with daily paperwork and issue escalation.
• Monitor equipment performance and donor safety throughout the process.
• Educate donors on donation frequency and blood product needs.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
