Role Overview

As part of the Donor Services Phlebotomy team, our Collection Specialist Drivers conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy, while providing donor care. They are responsible for driving large blood center vehicles, transporting supplies and team members, setting up and tearing down collections, and restocking supplies.

This is a full-time position (30+ hours/week), working 30-39 hours, with varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications
  • Customer service experience
  • Enjoy working with the public
  • Stable work history
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to train away from home for up to two weeks
  • Comfort with driving larger vehicles (box trucks, truck and trailer)
  • Ability to drive in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable by our insurance
  • DOT Medical Certification Physical card (or ability to obtain)
  • Pre-employment background check, drug screening, motor vehicle report
