Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join Waynesville Family Practice. The role involves specimen collection and processing, equipment maintenance, and performing waived testing as applicable.

Responsibilities:

  1. Labeling, ordering, accessioning, and processing specimens.
  2. Maintaining laboratory equipment and medical supplies.
  3. Performing specified waived testing, if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum Work Experience:
    • Phlebotomist I: New graduate or less than 3 years of experience.
    • Phlebotomist II: Minimum of 3 years of experience.

Required Skills:

  • Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately.

Preferred Skills:
