Job summary

Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV is expanding its patient-care team and seeks a Phlebotomy Technician. You will perform venipunctures and specimen collections, with a solid understanding of testing and collection requirements under moderate supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and a phlebotomy training program; national or state licensure/certifications may apply. Prior lab or emergency room experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; phlebotomy training program acceptable.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Phlebotomy certification required upon hire; LPN/paramedic licensure may be substituted.
• If national certification, Nevada licensure within 6 months of hire.
• Prefer prior lab/ phlebotomy experience in ER or related roles.
