Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform donor registration, vital signs, medical screening, phlebotomy, and related recordkeeping for whole-blood donation.
• Assist with autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing, research, and other blood collection services as assigned.
• Follow SOPs and ensure blood products are collected per FDA quality standards.
• Assist supervisor with daily paperwork and documentation.
• Communicate equipment concerns, venipuncture issues, and donor questions to the supervisor.
• Assess donor needs throughout the donation process and manage donor reactions.
