Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform donor registration, vital signs, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing, and related recordkeeping.
• Support autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing, and research collection services as assigned.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory standards for blood product collection (FDA).
• Assist supervisor with daily paperwork and documentation.
• Report equipment concerns and donor questions to supervisor.
• Assess donor needs and manage donor comfort throughout the donation process.
• Educate donors on donation frequency and the importance of the blood supply.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for all donors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
