Job summary

Northwell Health in New York seeks a Phlebotomist - FlexStaff to perform blood draws from adult, pediatric and infant patients, verify information and process specimens following established procedures. You will maintain quality control records, monitor patient condition and report any abnormal findings.

Requires high school diploma and phlebotomy certification preferred, with at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience or related education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified in Phlebotomy from a National Organization is preferred.
• Minimum of one year Phlebotomy experience OR Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant education program is required.
• Knowledge of laboratory computer, preferred.
