Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full Time Specimen Collector Phlebotomist to operate in Bon Air, VA. You will collect blood, urine and oral fluid, and ensure accurate data entry, specimen packaging, and shipping preparation.

Ideal candidates are certified phlebotomists with 1+ year experience and a valid driver's license. The role requires strong customer service, computer skills, and occasional travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist with 1+ year experience (experience may substitute for certificate).
• 6+ months as a specimen collector or 1+ year in a medical setting supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience considered in place of medical work.
• Ability to navigate smartphone and computer effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient blood, urine and saliva specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice and laboratory.
• Record patient information, orders and lab data accurately.
• Resolve specimen concerns related to billing or patient data.
• Order and maintain onsite collection supplies.
• Observe collections and drive between facilities as needed.
