The Phlebotomist is a key point of contact for patients and provides a positive customer service experience during their visit.

Position Details:
  • Full Time / Benefits Eligible
  • Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm, Friday 8:30am-4pm
  • Dublin, OH
Responsibilities:
  • Order and transmit lab orders in the computer system.
  • Assist in patient care.
  • Verify patient name and date of birth before blood draws.
  • Correct diagnosis errors flagged in the system.
  • Perform blood draws, label tubes with patient info, and know routine containers and volumes.
  • Process blood and urine specimens.
  • Stock inventory, maintain a clean work area, and dispose of biohazard materials correctly.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Attend meetings and participate as requested.
  • Perform all other assigned duties.
Requirements:
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • Strong phlebotomy and customer service skills
  • Previous experience in a lab or clinical setting preferred
