Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Indianapolis, IN and surrounding cities to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages. You will collect specimens for drug screens and other analyses while ensuring accurate data entry and patient logs.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with occasional travel to additional sites and related administrative duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Additional Job Standards

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
