Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team at Western Illinois Correctional Center in Mount Sterling, IL. You will draw blood, check vital signs, perform finger stick glucose testing, and assist with activities of daily living within a correctional healthcare setting. Shift: Monday through Friday from 3am to 7am (4 hours).

Pay rate: $21.42 per hour plus a PRN differential. Candidates should have completed a certified phlebotomy training program and a high school

Qualifications

• Completed a certified phlebotomy training program.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in corrections/behavioral health preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood.
• Check vital signs.
• Perform finger stick blood glucose testing.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living in a correctional healthcare environment.

We are currently seeking a part time Phlebotomist to join our team at Western Illinois Correctional Center located in Mount Sterling, Illinois.The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.Shift: Monday through Friday from 3a-7a (4hrs per day)Pay rate: $21.42/hr + PRN differentialCompleted a certified phlebotomy training programBe a high school graduate or hold a GEDAt least one year of experience working as a Phlebotomist preferredExperience working in corrections/behavioral health preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLSAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
