Job summary

Complete-Health in Florida is hiring a Sr. Phlebotomist-Processor to perform venipuncture, specimen handling, and timely reporting of test results. The role requires maintaining patient identification, specimen integrity, and compliance with LIS and HIPAA.

You will travel to other locations as needed; must have high school diploma and CPT certification preferred; 1 year phlebotomy experience; hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm; pay range $18.00-$18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of phlebotomy experience or training.
• High School Diploma required.
• CPT Certification preferred.
• Skilled in venipuncture and blood collection.
• Experience with LIS system.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws competently with minimal patient discomfort.
• Identify patient using two identifiers (name and DOB).
• Maintain specimen integrity with proper aseptic technique.
• Document collection and testing in the LIS system.
• Operate analyzers to provide test results for diagnosis.
• Maintain logs, supplies, and a clean work area.
