We are seeking experienced Phlebotomists/Processors with excellent people skills to enhance our team. Ideal candidates will have a collaborative spirit and a commitment to supporting both our patients and our team’s goals.
Schedule Flexible start time between 500 AM and 130 PM, Monday to Friday, with floating shifts
Location 8660 W Emerald Suite 102
In this role, you will be responsible for
- Administrative duties Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.
- Technical responsibilities Retrieving blood samples (via venipuncture) and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory testing, and performing screening procedures.
- Accurate data management Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.
- Specimen handling Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
- Compliance Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.
- Flexibility Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy experience (beyond training obtained through certification) is required; Proficient phlebotomy skills are essential
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions; Clean driving record
- Experience performing phlebotomy on pediatric patients is preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record of consistent employment, demonstrating continuity and minimal career gaps

- Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy in all responsibilities
- Outstanding organizational abilities to efficiently juggle multiple responsibilities
As a commitment to our clients and their requirements, all candidates for this position must meet the following immunization and health screening requirements before starting employment at the designated site
- Annual Influenza (Flu) vaccination
- Hepatitis B (HepB) series
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccination
- Tuberculosis (TB) test, PPD (within the last 12 months)
- Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (TDAP) vaccination (within the last 10 years)
- Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination or immunity
*Proof of immunization or immunity will be requested upon hiring. If not presently immunized, but willing to receive, Interpath will cover the associated costs at their partner clinic.*

- Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds.
- High level of staff interaction in close quarters; must hear alarms to ensure timely response to safety needs.
- Regular handling of potentially infectious samples, with required protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield).
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day.
- Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed.
OSHA Category This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues, with Hepatitis-B vaccination offered to all performing these duties.
