Job summary

This PRN position requires customer service excellence and reliability in a fast-paced lab environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy experience, and may hold certification; pediatric phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1 year or more pediatric phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
