You will collect samples from patients of all ages, maintain safety and confidentiality, document collection details accurately, and support daily operations while upholding process excellence. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over one year preferred.
• Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
• Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at the worksite—must be within 20-25 minutes of the location.
• Must be prepared to work whenever scheduled, and demonstrate punctuality and commitment for entire shifts.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established procedures.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment while adhering to all safety and confidentiality protocols.
• Accurately document and record specimen collection details, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Provide clear communication and reassurance to patients during the blood collection process, fostering trust and confidence.
• Perform specimen processing duties with confidence, including both forensic and clinical collections.
• Support daily operational activities and maintain organizational commitment to process excellence.
