Griffin Health is a community-centered healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional care in a compassionate and patient-focused environment. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Services team.

Main Function

The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques. In addition to phlebotomy duties, this position involves performing a limited number of basic laboratory tests under the direction of licensed laboratory staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform venous and capillary blood draws from patients of all age groups
  • Ensure proper identification, labeling, and handling of specimens
  • Provide compassionate and efficient patient care
  • Assist with basic laboratory testing procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in phlebotomy required
