Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist-Hospitals to join our team in Lowell, MA. In this hospital/inpatient setting you will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and provide friendly, accurate service to patients.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months experience.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist-Hospitals to join our team in Lowell MA.

Work Schedule: This will be as needed - 1st shift

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

• Provide superior customer service to all patients

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years’ experience as an in-patient phlebotomist
• LabCorp experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Hospital/In-patient setting. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

**Pay Range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
