Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Tampa. You will perform skilled specimen collections, deliver exceptional customer service, and be the face of Labcorp while supporting growth opportunities within the organization.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 7am–4pm with rotating Saturdays 7am–11am. Role requires phlebotomy training/certification or related experience and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
